It seems almost certain that Jose Mourinho will be the next Manchester United boss after confirming the news to his family and friends.
According to Daily Mail, Mourinho has already started to plan for United’s next season by identifying possible transfer targets.
Add to that, he has identified his trusted man Rui Faria to be his assistant at Old Trafford.
The news has gathered pace all week long with Mourinho seen as the ideal man to pull United out of the difficult situation they find themselves in.
Louis Van Gaal has seemed to miss the plot and has done nothing but to snap at reporters on being asked about his future. He seems a man rattled, and United can do with a manager, who is in charge of the dressing room and can mix results and trophies out on the pitch.
With Mourinho confirming the news to his family and friends, telegraph’s news of Mourinho agreeing a pre-contract to become United’s manager next season seems even legit.
As luck or strategic timing would have it, Jose came out of the dark and gave his first TV interview since getting fired by Chelsea earlier this season.
Mourinho confirmed that he would like to stay in Premier League and look for offers. Which seemed to be a clear indication of his desires of becoming the next Manchester United boss.
So much so, former Chelsea manager Gianluca Vialli admitted that Mourinho to United is the most realistic way forward for both club and the manager.
The deal could be announced in coming weeks, with Marca reportedly reserving 1st July as the date when the Special One will officially take over at Manchester United.
