Revealed: The real reason why Jose Mourinho is staying in England despite getting sacked by Chelsea?

If you have followed Chelsea football club for long, you would remember how Jose Mourinho stormed out of England when he was sacked the first time in 2007. However, this time around the Special One is in no hurry to leave the country despite getting the boot by his beloved club.

According to telegraph, BBC and other leading journals, the real reason behind his decision is to assess his options of becoming the next Manchester United manager. Ever since Mourinho’s sacking, rumours of him taking charge at Old Trafford have gathered momentum.

According to Sky Bet, Mourinho is the odds on favorite (3/1) to be the next Man United manager in August. The same news has been confirmed by leading Man United journalist Andy Mitten. That is why, Mourinho is not rushing in his decision to find a new club for him.

He has stated several times how his family and kids are very well settled in England and uprooting them once again will not be the best of decisions. Mourinho has been keen on the United job ever since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement news was surfacing around.

In the end, Mourinho opted to choose Chelsea ahead of United and he is no mood to repeat the same mistake. He is well aware that United hierarchy is frustrated at the lack of positive play from Louis Van Gaal and if Mourinho pressed ahead with his intention of managing United, we could be seeing him in charge at Old Trafford when the new season kicks off in August next year.
