England international, Luke Shaw looked set for an exit from Manchester United given the rocky relationship between the player and Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho.
The 21-year-old left back has been injured since suffering an injury last season, amid concerns that his attitude is not at par with the demands and expectations of his manager.
Clubs such as West Ham and Tottenham are reportedly interested in a move for the former Southampton man, but it would seem that the player has finally improve his demons and stay at Old Trafford.
The 20-time Premier League champions head to the USA on Sunday for an intense pre-season that will see them play against the world’s top teams and the medical team have recommended that the player goes for the tour as he is close to a full return, which may mean that his exit isn’t been mooted by the club.
He was signed for big money in 2014, but has not consistently delivered, instead suffering lack of form, and being injured for large chunks of his time at The Theatre of Dreams.
Jose Mourinho has not been in the market for a new left back, which means that there is still opportunity for Shaw to impress and force his way back to his manager’s thoughts.
Luke Shaw suffered a nasty injury in the 2015/16 season, and was the subject of Chelsea, managed by Jose Mourinho at the time and United, who saw him as a long term replacement for club legend, Patrice Evra. In all, he has made 47appearances for the English giants.
