A report in the media claim Nantes promising play-maker Harit has been keen with a move to the Emirates Stadium since the opening of the summer transfer window.
The ace’s dazzling performance last term was nothing short brilliant, which has also caught the attention of the likes of Schalke and Bayern Munich.
Now it seems the aforementioned Arsenal and Bayern will have to look elsewhere as it now seem Harit has reportedly agree to sign a four-years contract with Schalke and he is set to seal a move worth £7.75m transfer, of which £6.25m will be paid up front, very soon.
It thought that Arsenal offered him a contract a bit higher than £7m but it was snubbed by the French club Nantes. It seems the North London outfit were targeting him as a long term replacement for German international Mesut Ozil who is been link with a move away from the Emirates, but it now seems Ozil is no longer going, which means the deal of Harit might not be furthered.
The ace went through the rank of Nantes and he just made his debut for the club last season. He featured in 34 matches and netted just 1 goal and created one assist.
