Eden Hazard takes another dig at Jose Mourinho

Eden Hazard does not waste any single opportunity to get back at Jose Mourinho for virtually ruining a season of his career at Chelsea.

Hazard suffered a horrific loss of form and confidence last season when Chelsea finished 10th in the league table. The poor showing saw Mourinho get the sack and Hazard was close to joining Real Madrid last summer.

However, in came Antonio Conte and everything has changed for the good, according to the Belgian playmaker. Hazard has been in exceptions form this season and he credits all of it to Conte and the mistakes he committed last season.

While Manchester United and Mourinho prepare to take on Chelsea the next round of FA Cup, Hazard was quick to remind Mourinho of his poor 2015/16 season at Stamford Bridge.

In a recent interview with Sky, Hazard said: “You learn from your mistakes. I gave everything to come back and now I am in my level.

“So I started this season well – fit, with no injuries and it is better to play when you are ready. I want to enjoy being on the pitch. So this is the key.

“It is always a difficult to come back after a bad season, but the boss changed something and tried to give us more confidence.

“This is the best moment for me at this club since I’ve been here. I’m happy.”
