Premier League striker Marcus Rashford is set to be rewarded by Manchester United with a new contract when he marks his 20 years of age later this month. Rashford impressive start to the league this season has been quite remarkable as he helped Jose Mourinho’s team stand tall at the top of the League drawing points with rivals Manchester City.
Rashford has been said to have matured over the years of starring for the Red devils and is set to get an upgrade in his contract which sees him currently earning £50,000 a week deal at Old Trafford.
The England International has been playing more on the left wing following the impressive performance of newly signed Romelu Lukaku. Now that Lukaku has picked up an injury during the International break, the 19 year old wil be set to occupy the Centre forward. United will be offering Rashford the new contract in other to snub interests that will be coming from clubs around Europe.
Jose Mourinho has not approve the deal saying earlier that offering young players a huge sums of salary weekly could hinder their focus. The actual figures of the contract has been officially announced, but it is presumed that deal will be tabled down when he clocks 20 this month.
The England International has been in a red hot form for both club and country this season, as he played his part last week providing an assist for the also in-form striker Harry Kane to secure their qualification for the next year World Cup.
Rashford has been impressive for the Reds this season as he bagged 5 goals in 11 appearances for the club. The Red Devils will be travelling to Anfield in hopes gather all three points for the league.
