In his two seasons as Celtic boss, Brendan Rodgers has shocked many with the kind of deal he has been able to pull off, including his acquisition of Moussa Dembele during his first summer at Celtic Park and the second loan deal for Patrick Roberts 12 months ago.
And it appears that the Hoops manager is planning to wow the world with another deal. According to the Daily Mirror reporting on their live transfer blog (26/05; 19:29), the Bhoys are one of the clubs keeping tabs on Tottenham starlet Reo Griffiths as he nears the end of his contract with Mauricio Pochettino’s team.
Griffiths has been in good form for Spurs’ Youth sides this past season, netting 34 goals across all competitions. His form made supporters hunger for his presence in the first-team as Harry Kane’s understudy with Fernando Llorente struggling to make an impact.
Recent reports claim that Spurs are intent on convincing Griffiths to commit to a new deal, but they have several clubs vying for his signature with Juventus, Roma and Barcelona all joining Celtic in the race.
Given the race that Celtic find themselves in previously, it is fair to say that Rodgers signing the teenager, would arguably be the greatest that he has made during his spell at Parkhead.
Wish Celtic will get ahead of all other suitors and sign this talented youngster

Including Spurs, Celtic are competing with four clubs that proceeded to the knockout stages of the Champions League this past season, while Juve and Barca both won their respective league titles once again. Griffiths will no doubt have a hard time choosing his next destination.
Celtic, on paper, is probably the least attractive option, but Rodgers should be able to guarantee him first-team action, and that may perhaps put the Hoops in a more favourable position in a move that looks to have the potential to be a masterstroke wherever the youngster chooses.
