Chelsea are about to be relieved of their search for a new striker as one of their prime target is set to leave his club.
Following their missing out on Remelu Lukaku, Chelsea are now looking to sign Torino striker Andre Belotti after the player informed his Club of his desire to leave this summer, according to the Express.
Belotti has been seen as the perfect replacement for want away striker Diego Costa. One of Italy most respected journalist Tancredi Palmeri claims that Belotti has informed the Serie-A Club that he wants out of Turin for bigger challenges, as he claimed on twitter.
Chelsea will be heading on their pre-season without a striker and will be hoping to finalize a deal for Belotti before the end of the transfer window as Costa does not feature in Conte plan for next season.
Chelsea other target Aubameyang might become difficult as Borrussia Dortmund released a statement earlier on Tuesday that Aubameyang would not be sold.
For Chelsea to get Belotti, they need to be able to meet Torino’s asking price of £80million.Chelsea have been reluctant in cuffing out huge amount for players this summer and it will be interesting to see Belotti be an exception.
