Celtic posted on their official Twitter account on Thursday that it was exactly 12 months since the day they acquired the signature of midfielder Olivier Ntcham, and Bhoys fans were quick to react.
The Scottish Premiership champions, who can sign their ideal Jozo Simunovic upgrade by hijacking a Rangers bid, lured the 22-year-old over to Celtic Park from Manchester City, and he certainly went on to impress in the central park for Brendan Rodgers’ team last season playing 48 games across all competitions.
As well as his defensive contribution, the Frenchman also proved how worthwhile he can be in the final third too with nine goals and a further six assists, and he could play an integral role in terms of attacking play this season too following the exit of Stuart Armstrong to Southampton.
Lots of Celtic supporters were fast to react to the post from the club on social media, and while one labelled him as a “superb signing”, another said, “player of the year coming up big man”.
