In the end, City were lucky to have only conceded 5, it could have turned in to a cricket score had it not been for Oscar’s missed penalty and couple of Chelsea shots hitting thw wood work.
The only spark from City came in the first half when David Faupala had scored the equalizing goal for City following Diego Costa’s opening goal. Second half was all about Chelsea as goals from Willian, Cahill, Hazard and Traore sealed thh tie for Guus Hiddink’s men.
