Anfield and magical European nights are almost synonym to each other and tonight we saw another sign when Liverpool came back from 2-0 and 3-1 down to win the game 4-3 and qualify to the Europa League semi-finals.
Jurgen Klopp has got this Liverpool team playing with a lot more belief and character which reflected in the way they kept coming back at Dortmund despite their 2-goal lead. In the end it was Mamdou Sakho and Dejan Lovren who scored the vital goals for Anfield to witness another historic European night.
On the wake of this extraordinary game we take a look at the best and worst rated players from Anfield following Liverpool’s 4-3 win over Borussia Dortmund.
Liverpool Player Ratings vs Dortmund
Mignolet (6.5), Lovren (7.5), Sakho (7.5), Clyne (6), Moreno (6.5), Can (6.5), Milner (6.5), Firmino (6), Coutinho (7), Lallana (7), Origi (7.5)

Throughout the season, Sakho and Lovren have been criticized for their poor defending but tonight they decided to write their name in glory as they scored the vital and 3rd and 4th goal on the night and carried Liverpool to the Europa League semi-final.
Dortmund Player Ratings vs Liverpool
Weidenfeller (5.5), Hummels (5.5), Sokratis (5.5), Piszczek (6), Schmelzer (6.5), Mkhitaryan (6.5), Reus (7), Kagawa (6.5), Castro (6.5), Weigl (6), Aubameyang (6.5)

Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang was unplayable for Liverpool in first 20 minutes, but despite scoring the goal he missed two vital chances to further extend Dortmund’s lead. Had any of those chances gone in, we would have seen a different outcome to this game tonight.
Man of the Match – This was a hard call to make when every Liverpool player gave their all and got a historic win. In the end, I though Dejan Lovren was vital in both the boxes and for keeping his calm and heading the winner in 91st minute was worthy of being awarded the Man of the Match award in our Liverpool vs Dortmund Player Ratings.
