Arsenal need to bounce back from their Champions League exit and give their all to restore the fading Premier League hopes. Next up for the Gunners, they travel to Goodison Park to take on an inspired Everton side.
Ahead of the kick-off, we take a closer look at the predicted Arsenal lineup vs Everton, which would see a return for Theo Walcott, Olivier Giroud and Francis Coquelin after the trio were benched for the game against Barcelona.
Petr Cech, Santi Cazorla, Aaron Ramsey continue to be out due to injuries, while Danny Welbeck needs some time off after playing too many games following his return from the injury.
Predicted Arsenal lineup vs Everton
Arsene Wenger does not have too many options to chose from and his best bet would be to start with same defense from the game against Barcelona. Nacho Monreal played admirably at Camp Nou, and he would look to do the same against an inspired Toffees side.
Midfield:
Mathieu Flamini’s inclusion in the midfield was more of a shock which went horribly wrong even before the half time. Wenger would not want to repeat his mistake and start with his two best options at the moment – Mohamed Elneny and Francis Coquelin.
Attack:
Danny Welbeck has played a lot of games since his winner against Leicester, and needs a rest this weekend. Theo Walcott must be feeling irritated by sitting on the sidelines, and it may be the perfect opportunity to bring him in the starting XI to see if he can be an influence.
