Chelsea 1 Stoke 1 Player Ratings – Hiddink’s decision to rest key players backfires

Chelsea conceded a late goal from Mame Biraf Diouf to surrender the advantage given to them by Bertrand Traore’s stunning strike on 39th minute. Manager Guus Hiddink decided to rest Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa ahead of their Champions League clash against PSG.

In the end, decision did not go as per the plan with Chelsea dropping 2 points in their Champions League race. As for Stoke, they continue their great run under Mark Hughes and look a safe bet to finish in Europa League places this season.
