Manchester United take on Watford in a must-win game to keep their top 4 hopes alive this season. With pressure still on Louis Van Gaal, we take a look at three key questions which needs answering ahead of the big kick-off this week?

How would United lineup with Martial’s return?

A lot has happened since Martial got injured in warm-up before the Midtjylland game. A certain Marcus Rashford has gone on to make a name for himself and is a good bet to start in upcoming games. Martial, however, will start the game tonight with likes of Memphis and Mata behind him.

Rashford will most likely be used from the bench, but given his age and recent game time, Louis Van Gaal would want to keep the youngster fresh for the weekend game against West Brom.

Watford’s mini-slide to end?

After a promising start to the season, Watford have suffered a blip in recent weeks. With only 2 wins in seven matches, The Hornets have slipped to 12th in the league table. One of the biggest reason for their dip in form in lack of goals from Odion Ighalo.

Watford take on an in-form United side, and it will not be easy for Quicko Sanchez Flores’ men to restore a balance to their season.

Can Van Gaal trust on his young guns?

Despite offering a positive injury report on Chris Smalling, Timothy Fonus-Mensah is expected to make his first start for the Red Devils, while Guillermo Varela, Memphis Depay, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford will also be involved against Watford.

Despite getting hammered for his work at United, the kind of young talent, Van Gaal has brought forward in last 12 months is worth applauding. He will once again rely on his youngsters to ensure, he breathes easily for next 3-4 days given the constant pressure he has been put under by the media and the fans.
