Man of the Match – Many might not agree with me here but I really think Diego Costa had a very bright game and perhaps his most energetic performance of the season. Although, he did not score a goal tonight, but his performance was worth applauding.

It was really hard to pick one man from Chelsea’s team performance tonight where very player had a part to play in the win. The biggest plaudit for Hiddink’s side tonight was their sheer will to go on and get the win at all cost.

The moment Fabregas goal went in, one got the feeling that Chelsea would go on and get the win. Large part of that confidence came from Costa, who held up the ball every-time Chelsea threw it long. Even for the first goal, Costa fought to keep the ball in and squared the ball for Fabregas.

He was at his tenacious best and even had his moment of madness when he went against Jose Fonte and Virgil Van Dijk. Thankfully for Chelsea fans though, he kept his cool and delivered a match-winning performance.
