Chelsea continue in their regular method of sending loads of players on loan especially to Belgium and Netherlands. Bekanty Victorien Angban is the latest to be loaned out, as he returns to Belgium on loan, this time joining Waasland-Beveren, where he will spend the season.
The 20-year-old Ivory Coast midfielder is yet to make his debut for the Blues senior team but has picked up first-team experience during two previous spells out on loan. He spent last season on loan at Spanish club Granada and played the 2015/16 season with Belgian outfit Sint-Truiden.
He joined host of other Chelsea players on loan in search of regular playing time. Chelsea had earlier sent players like Kurt Zuoma and Victor Moses on loan which later made their mark in the first team at one point or the other.
Bekanty Victorien Angban can play as a central midfielder and also as a winger. He has represented Ivory Coast in age grade competitions, at both under 17 and under 20.
He has also earned a call up to the senior team for a friendly match against Morocco but didn’t play. He will be hoping to have a good spell at Waasland-Beveren so that he can one day be called to Chelsea first team.
