Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma has finally completed his season-long loan move to Stoke City.

The centre-back has long been linked with a move to the Potters and he was seen wearing the club’s training kit at their training ground today, apparently to have his medicals.

The Frenchman had an impressive spell under former Coach Jose Mourinho before spending a lengthy time on the sideline after suffering a knee injury. He returned to action in January but could only make three appearances.

Blue boss Antonio Conte had been impressed with the defender’s ability but doesn’t seem to have a place for him in his squad, with David Liuz and Gary Cahill ahead of him.

And the arrival of Antonio Rudiger will push him further doen the pecking order.

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes, had few weeks back, spoken of the club’s interests in signing him and moving to the Bet365 stadium will afford the opportunity of regular playing time and regain the form that established him under Mourinho.

Stoke will reportedly part with £7 million to sign him on loan as they are willing to be responsible for his full wages.

However, there are reports that Zouma will send a two -year contract extension at Chelsea before departing for Stoke City.
