Done deal: Ace complete Chelsea move, 4-years-deal agreed

A report from Evening Standard claim Chelsea under-18 captain Mason Mount has put to pen a new 4-years deal at the Stamford Bridge stadium before completing a move to join Vitesse on loan.

It thought that Chelsea are having a good relationship with the ace and they usually loan out their players to team as a means to develop their young players ahead of the future. The Blues hopes the 18-year-old star will use this opportunity to top up his game and establish himself to become an elite player.

Mount’s dazzling performance has earned him favor in the sight of the club staffs and he is expected to fight for a first-team chance when he returns to the club in the summer of 2018. He was also named the academy player of the year.

“Vitesse feels like me the next step in my career,” Mount told the Dutch club’s website.

“Vitesse gave me a good feeling when discussing [the move]. I also talked to other players like Lewis Baker and Mukhtar Ali, who were all positive about the club.”

Mount also contributed greatly in helping the club’s youth side. He contributed greatly in helping the blues win the FA Youth Cup and the Premier League U18s titles last term.

He will join the likes of Fankaty Dabo and Charlie Colkett at Vitesse. The aces are also on loan with the Dutch club.
