Manchester United set to hurt Chelsea by agreeing a deal with their long-term target

Latest development at Manchester United sees Diego Simeone lined up to be their next manager, according to Sun.

Manchester United’s managerial stance has been an intriguing one to follow in recent weeks. Several reports saw Louis Van Gaal as good as sacked with Jose Mourinho named as the new boss.

However, new turn of events sees Diego Simeone as the favorite to take over the manager’s role from Louis Van Gaal.

Simeone has been seen a long-term target for Chelsea to take over as their manager, but the current Atletico boss is lured by the legacy and history of Manchester United and is willing to give up on the opportunity of managing Chelsea.

Simeone is seen as one of the best young managers in the game and his aggression and man-management is seen as the biggest ingredient to success at Old Trafford. His passion on the touchline is something fans will be excited to see when the deal is made official by United’s hierarchy.
