Celtic will hope to bounce back after their Europa league exit in the hand of Zenit Saint Peterburg when they travel to face Aberdeen in the Scottish premier league on Sunday.

They will have to quickly move on from the disappointing display to concentrate on retaining their domestic treble at the end of this season. In the wake of doing that, Brendan Rodgers will be putting a strong side in display with little changes to the line up during the week.

Goalkeeper

Dorus de Vries will have to put behind him the disappointment during the week when he conceded three and put in a stellar performance this time around and even hope to keep a clean sheet against Aberdeen.

Defenders

The full backs will most likely keep their place. Mikeal Lustig and Kieran Tierney are undisputed options in those positions. There seems to be a new chemistry in the partnership of Jozo Simunovic and Kristoffer Ajer which will complete the back four. Brendan Rodgers is unlikely to change anything in this backline.

Midfielders

Captain, Scott Brown will be back in the lineup after missing last game due to suspension. Oliver Ntcham will provide the next support in controlling the middle of the park will Eboue Kouassi making the third man in the midfield. They should be able to get the job done against an Aberdeen side that has not won against the Bhoys in their last five meetings.

Attacker

A key player will have to be rested in this gave after playing 90 minutes against Zenit with little to show. Moussa Dembele productivity has not been the same as it was last year and Rodgers will want to give room for other players to showcase their ability.

Charly Musonda who could not start in Russia will take his place with Scott Sinclair getting the nod ahead of Callum McGregor. James Forrest will be adopted as the topmost striker in this game.
