In the Transfer window, Manchester United star Andres Pereira is set to be spending his time away from Old Trafford and will be join the Spanish side Valencia on a season long loan deal.
Manchester United has been heavily involved in the summer transfer market, now seeming to be loaning out the Brazilian midfielder, the reds have reached an agreement with Valencia despite Pereira been linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
The 21-year-old midfielder spent his last season in La Liga with Granada regardless of him earning rave reviews for being the stand-out performers; he couldn’t help the club avoid relegation scoring 5 goals in 37 appearances in all competitions last campaign.
Pereira returned to Old Trafford this summer and played impressively in all pre-season matches for the Jose Mourinho side, with reports covering that Mourinho was previously planning to keep the Midfielder at the club to compete with his first team.
Spanish-based journalist Sid Lowe took to his twitter page confirming a season-long loan deal for Pereira: “Confirmed that Andreas Pereira is on his way to Valencia.” he added: “To clarify on Pereira: Valencia have confirmed it (per @carrusel). Loan deal. Could be good for everyone.”
Earlier this week, Valencia General Director Mateu Alemany confirmed the club’s interest in both Goncalo Guedes and Pereira, but refused to release any more info.
“I don’t like to reveal names or discuss operations but they (Pereira and Guedes) are two players that interest us,” Alemany said.
“There are others. We shall see.”
Since joining the Red Devils in 2011 from PSV Eindhoven, has only 13 appearances for the first team of the Premier League outfit.
