Chelsea are witnessing more of outgoings than incomings in the transfer market this summer and it is not mainly from the first team as the youngsters too have been left out.
The likes Dominic Solanke and Nathan Ake have left the club on permanent deals while youngsters like Tammy Abraham, Ruben Loftus-cheek and Lucaz Piazon have been farmed out on loan.
As per the latest news making in Czech republic,Tomas Kalas, who has a year left on his current contract at Chelsea, is set for another loan spell next season.
The 24-year-old joined Chelsea at the age of 17, but has not made any appearance for the Blues till date. He has had loan spells at Middlesbrough and Fulham.
And while there were speculations of a permanent move away from Stamford Bridge this summer, Chelsea has decided to extend his contract, though the duration of the new contract is unknown.
And he will certainly follow in the footstep of Lucas Piazon by returning to Championship club Fulham to continue his development.
Of course, staying back at Chelsea will not be good for Kalas’ career, with the Blues defence already crowded, though they lack the same numerical strenght in the final third.
However, Antonio Conte remain on course to sign a striker before the forthcoming season starts.
