Celtic will be desperate to finish strongly in the summer transfer window having failed to sign any player so far.

Indeed, the Hoops haven’t exactly been generous with the cash this summer as they seem to have lost their momentum during pre-season. Although, it looks as if Brendan Rodgers to change that, as according to the Daily Star, Celtic are closing in on the signing of Daniel Arzani.

It is believed that a deal for Australian ace Daniel Arzani is almost done, with a deal set to be rubber-stamped next week.

Interestingly, the youngster is in England putting finishing touches to his move to Manchester City from Australian side Melbourne City.

The 19-year-old will then be sent out on a season-long loan to Celtic, but this subject to a work permit.

The Australian youngster is one of the hottest prospects in world football, so the Hoops will be delighted that they are close to sealing a deal.

Celtic already have Callum McGregor and Tom Rogic at their disposal, so it will be interesting to see how they make use of Arzani if the supposed loan move goes through.
