After several attempt by Adrian Januzaj to revive his Manchester United career, it seems it won’t be happening anymore, at least at the moment. Adnan Januzaj is set to move to Real Sociedad as confirmed by Mundo Deportivo in coming hours.
Not featuring in José Mourinho’s preseason tour squad and not seeing any light at the end of the tunnel, the Belgian forward and his agent have made it very known that he would love a move outside England, that his time at Old Trafford has come to an end, and a move to La Liga, a far more technical league, is the move they see as the solution for Januzaj to regain his golden touch once more.
On the 22nd of June, the player’s agents were said to be holding a meeting with Real Sociedad about the move, and now Mundo Deportivo claim they have returned to finalize the operation on Tuesday.
Another paper, standard Spanish press report that, the deal could be made official ‘in the coming hours’, but, as always, that timeline is very vague, and could mean later this week.
Manchester United could be making as much as €11m for the 22-year-old despite him only having one year left on his contract.
