Chelsea is known for always having the highest number of players on loan and that record is not about to change.

Defender Michael Hector is the latest to be heading on loan as he edge closer to joining Hull City on a season long loan as the 25-year-old is set for the 14th loan of his career, according to a report from Sky Sports.

The centre-back joined Chelsea signed the 25-years-old from Reading in 2015 but is yet to make an appearance for the Premier League champions. The Jamaican was last loaned to Eintracht Frankfurt last season where he was impressive and has attracted interest from various clubs.

Hector will be the second Chelsea player joining Hull this season after Ola Aina joined and this might be connected to Hull new manager Leonid Slutsky.

Hector has been a regular pre season player at Chelsea since the arrival of Conte but has now been told he can leave the club on loan.

Conte has not been impressed enough and has various options in that department with Victor Moses and Cesar Azplecueta capable of playing the right back position. Chelsea had sent other former first team players like Kurt Zouma on loan this summer.
