As the count down to the start of the new premier league season is on, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool have already started their rivalry as they go head to head for Barcelona midfielder. The premier league clubs are in for Barca’s Rafael Alcântara, according to report.

The la masia graduate has spent all his football life in Spain, and have only been loaned out once to Celta Vigo in 2013-14 season. However, Rafinha have had limited playing time which has lead the Blaugrana to listen to offers for him.

Arsenal were the first to be touted to sign the 24-year-old midfielder but the gunners reluctant attitude to make a firm offer has made Liverpool to be front runners for his signature. Mundo Deportivo are in the claim that the Reds are willing to part with about €30m to €40m, in order to get the player to lace his boots for them.

Barcelona have been monitoring Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho, and this will be a good opportunity to do business as Barcelona will be willing to make Rafinha part if the deal in other to lure Coutinho to the Campus Nou.

Liverpool are however adamant that they want sell Coutinho and would prefer the deals go separately.

The player is currently recovering from a knee injury but the report by Mundo Deportivo reveals that Rafinha stay at Camp Nou is not guaranteed.
