Celtic flop full-back Saidy Janko has agreed to a sensational £3 million move to Portuguese outfit Porto. The 22-year-old defender signed for Celtic from French club Saint-Etienne, penning a four-year deal to complete the shock transfer.
Janko departed Celtic Park last summer after spending just two years with the Scottish champions. Ronny Deila secured his signature for £500,000 from Manchester United, but the player failed to make an impression on Brendan Rodgers.
He played only two games in the Premiership and was permitted to go on loan to Barnsley in August following a nightmarish performance in the 2-0 Champions League qualifying loss to Hapoel Be’er Shev in Israel as the Bhoys squeezed through 5-4 on aggregate.
