Chelsea to seal double striker deal
Chelsea are certain to sign Celtic striker Moussa Dembele in a reported £40million deal, according to The Sun.
Reports claim that Celtic are ready to accept Chelsea’s big-money offer and let the 20-year-old striker leave before the end of January transfer window.
Blues are also looking at the possibility of letting Michy Batshuayi leave in January with West Ham rumoured to be his next club.
Ashley Young staying put at Man United
Despite being tipped to quit Manchester United this month, Sky Sports are now certain that Ashley Young has a 90% chance of staying at Old Trafford with no concrete bid coming in for the English winger.
Waford and Sunderland were linked with a move for the wide man but United are yet to get a convincing offer.
Akpom labels Arsenal transfer as perfect
Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom has branded his loan move to Brighton as “perfect”.
The 21-year-old was signed on loan until the end of the season yesterday by the Championship high-flyers.
And with a fight for promotion to the Premier League on, Chris Hughton has added firepower in the form of Akpom.
