BREAKING – Liverpool have agreed to sell Daniel Sturridge to Arsenal in January

Arsenal have emerged as the favorites to sign the out of favor Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge in January, according to reports from Daily Star and Sky Bet.

As we understand, Sky Bet have slashed the odds to 9/1 for Arsenal to bring the England international to Emirates Stadium before February 3rd, 2017.

Sturridge has been forced to start most of the matches from the bench and even when he does make an appearance, the England international is forced to play from an unfamiliar right wing role.

Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino have become Jurgen Klopp’s go-to man in terms of leading the line for Liverpool which has all but ended Sturridge’s hopes of reviving his Liverpool career.

Another gamble or masterstroke from Wenger?

Like Jack Wilshere, Sturridge is a player who spends most of his time in the treatment room but when on form, he can be a real match winner.

In recent weeks, we have seen Arsenal go with Alexis Sanchez as their lone striker up top but if Sturridge makes his way to Emirates, Wenger may finally have a squad ready to challenge for the Premier League title.

Chances of Sturridge signing for Arsenal – 2/5

As unlikely as it may sound but Arsenal could make a serious push about signing Sturridge in January. The England international is a handful if kept fit and if Arsenal are ready to take that gamble then this could be a title decisive move from Arsene Wenger.
