Alexis Sanchez still unsure over new deal
Arsenal legend Robert Pires has claimed that he held a private chat with Alexis Sanchez earlier this month and according to Pires, Sanchez is still uncertain of signing the new deal.
Pires claimed: “I spoke with Alexis last week and asked about his renewal,” Pires told Chilean newspaper La Tercera.
“He told me he did not know, that he only cared about playing. It is not subject for Alexis. He does not know what is going to happen, just wants to play and enjoy.”
Chelsea closing on Semedo
Chelsea are getting closer to signing Benfica right-back Nelson Semedo, according to Daily Mirror.
Manager Antonio Conte is keen to bring an upgrade to Victor Moses for the right wing back position and is prepared to go head to head against Manchester United to sign Semedo.

Manager Jurgen Klopp feels midfield is still an area which needs improvement for The Reds and is prepared to sign Carvalho, who is valued around £25million.
