Juan Cuadrado is nearing a move to AC Milan after his agent Alessandro Lucci has flown in to London to negotiate a €30million deal. The Colombian international prefers to say in Italy and continue his playing career.
According to Gazzetta dello Sports, AC Milan are looking to sign the 28-year-old on an initial loan deal with a view to make it permanent next summer. However, Chelsea are only looking to sell Cuadrado and not send him on loan yet again.
Cuadrado signed for Chelsea in a £26million deal in January 2015 but could only make 14 appearance. He spent the entire last season on loan with Juventus and is keen to stay in Italy even if it means switching sides for AC Milan.
Gazzetta are convinced that Cuadrado’s agent has flew to London last night and is certain to agree a deal to snatch his client away from Stamford Bridge in coming few days.
Blues are linked with a move to Riyad Mahrez and they already have Willian, Pedro and Eden Hazard as options in the wide role. Cuadrado is certain that he will not be able to break in to Conte’s starting XI and is eager to seal his exit.
AC Milan are certain to lose Carlos Bacca this summer and the manager Vincenzo Montella wants to bring in Cuadrado as a viable attacking option. The Rossoneris are expected to move in for a striker in coming weeks, however, they Cuadrado is expected to sign for them in coming 48 hours.
