With his desire to retain the Premier League next season and possibly add the Champions League trophy to it, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is keen on bolstering his squad ahead of the forthcoming season.

The Blue boss has already spent over £75 million to add Antonio Rudiger from Roma and Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco to his team, but it is obvious he is not done in the transfer market yet and wants to add more.

Chelsea have been linked with Real Madrid right-back Danilo and according to Brazilian outlet Globe Esporte, the full-back has agreed personal terms to join the West London club.

The Brazilian international has his eyes on making it to the 2018 World Cup in Russia with the Samba Boys and wants a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu in order to secure regular playing time, with Dani Carvajal preferred ahead of him at the Los Blancos right-back position.

An agreement is yet to be reached as regards the transfer fee for the defender valued at £35 million but talks are said to have advanced. Danilo is expected to provide competition for Victor Moses at the Blues right-wing.

Having played in the Champions League before and won it twice, Danilo will add more experience to the team.

Conte also has Borussia Dortmund hitman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata on his transfer list.
