FC Porto are the latest team to enter the race to sign Memphis Depay on loan for rest of the season.
According to reports from Portuguese journal A Bola, Porto are ready to meet Depay’s wage demands and could even offer first team action for Depay to regain his form.
FC Porto are relying on their former manager (Mourinho) to convince the player to join them on loan and snub all other offers, including from Premier League side Everton.
Mourinho not keen on Memphis joining Everton
According to Telegraph, Mourinho is still keen on giving Memphis an opportunity to prove his worth for Man United and does not want to sell the Dutch winger.
Everton are however pushing for a permanent deal for the former PSV but have failed to meet United’s asking price.
Morgan Schneiderlin is another United star waiting for his future to sort out after United have rejected a £13million bid from West Brom and are yet to receive a sizeable bid from Everton.
Despite the struggles in reaching agreements for Memphis and Schneiderlin, one believes that the duo will indeed quit Old Trafford in January however, their eventual destination is still unknown.
