Confirmed! Celtic submits approved bid for 23-year-old midfielder

Some Celtic fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to make their thoughts known regarding speculation that the Scottish champions have made an official bid for Hibernian midfielder John McGinn.

According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic have had a bid of £1.5 million for McGinn rejected by league rival Hibernian, who is requesting for more money.

The Daily Record has reported that the Glasgow giants will make an improved offer for the St. Mirren star.

McGinn is one of the best midfielders Scotland can boast of and he was in brilliant form for Hibernian last season.

The 23-year-old Scotland international played 35 games in the Scottish Premiership for Hibs during the 2017-18 campaign, picking up five goals and providing six assists in the process, As per Transfermarkt.

According to The Scottish Sun, Leeds United and Rangers are also targeting McGinn.
