Club ready to sell star midfielder, Man United to activate 43m release clause

Manchester United have identified Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic as a potential target ahead of the summer transfer window, reports Metro.

The Guardian claim the Red Devils are considering a move for the 24-year-old Croatia international, who has a £43million release clause written into his current contract.

Brozovic’s relationship with Inter fans has become increasingly strained, meaning the 24-year-old could be open to a move to England.

Brozovic is expected to start a transfer tussle between Manchester City, Chelsea, and Arsenal as Mourinho prepares to fight for his key summer target.

Michael Carrick is expected to be offered a new 1-year deal this summer, however, Marouane Fellaini is certain to quit Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho is confident of signing Brozovic this season and work on bolstering his midfield ahead of his crucial second season for Man United.
