Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has posted a picture on his Instagram page that suggested that he could be heading to Chelsea, according to report from Metro.
The Gabon international has been linked with a move away from his German club this summer and there are also reports that Chelsea are ready to launch a bid for him after losing Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United.
He has been on the radar of AC Milan for a while and Chinese club Tianjin Quanjian are reportedly also planning to offer him outrageous salary. Premier League clubs Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool have also been credited with showing interest in him.
But as it stands, Chelsea seems to have assumed the pole position to land the forward valued at £60 million. And to fuel the speculations, he posted a picture of himself posing with a private jet on Wednesday, kitted in Chelsea’s colors- blue and white.
His outfits in the picture may also have raised the hope of Chelsea fans that the prolific striker may be on his way to the club, with the 28-year-old putting on a royal blue jacket, t-shirt, trainers and hat.
Aubameyang scored 31 goals in the Bundesliga last season as he clinched the Golden Boot. He would make the departure of Diego Costa of less impact if he joins the Blues.
