Chelsea are planning one last attempt at signing Paul Pogba out of Barcelona’s clutches this January. According to Fichajes, Chelsea are willing to break the bank for Pogba, if he agrees for a move.

According to Football Italia, Pogba is keen to make a move out of Turin with Barcelona being his preferred destination.

Chelsea and Manchester United were keen on bringing the Frenchman back to the Premier League, however, Pogba decided to wait for Barcelona’s ban to be lifted and complete his move to La Liga.

Despite Pogba’s strong inclination to Camp Nou, Guus Hiddink is willing to hold another talk with Pogba and convince him to chose Chelsea over Barcelona.

Fichajes are sure of their reports of Chelsea making a move for him this January and pay as much as £70million. Pogba is a real beast from central midfield and is seen as one of the best players in his position.

Ironically, Pogba plays in the position (central midfield) which has Chelsea’s Achilles heel this season. Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas have looked out of sorts so far this campaign and only a player like Pogba can save their season from going from bad to worse.
