Chelsea are in desperate need of an overhaul to their squad. The current set of players, which allegedly has betrayed Jose Mourinho needs to be shipped off from Stamford Bridge. The biggest problem for Chelsea this season has been the number of players failing to replicate their performance from last season.

Diego Costa, Nemanja Matic, Branislav Ivanovic, Oscar and Eden Hazard have looked a mere shadow of their original self. One gets the feeling that Mourinho needs to defy the rules of January Transfer Window and make a complete overhaul to squad midway through the season.

Among the under-performing stars Mourinho needs to get rid of Costa, Ivanovic and Oscar. These three men have contributed the least this season and have caused huge troubles to Mourinho in terms of his team selections. How Jose is going to find players to replace his under-performing stars will be his biggest headache.

Having said that, Jose is fully aware that if he does not make changes to his squad, he will come under pressure and might even get sacked as well. The established teams tend not to make wholesale changes to his squad midway, but given Chelsea’s current league position needs radical changes and it needs to happen in January.
