Chelsea and Real Betis have agreed to end Charly Musonda’s loan deal with the La Liga club and the talented youngster has been sent back to Chelsea.
According to ABC de Sevilla , both clubs have already reached a verbal agreement and only the official documents are lacking for the announcement to be made.
The newspaper claims that the talks between the two clubs took place yesterday with Betis initially claiming that players was in London only to recover from his ongoing injury issues.
What went wrong from Musonda?
Charly Musonda was a victim of second season syndrome at Real Betis where he failed his performances from the last season.
Musonda also struggled with the two managerial changes in Seville leading to an unsettled role in the starting XI. Injuries did not help his case either which has now seen the player return to Stamford Bridge as he awaits his next career move.
What next for Musonda?
At the moment, the popular belief is that Chelsea will once again look to find a right club for Musonda to give him proper first team action before he could think of breaking in to Chelsea’s starting XI next season.
