Chelsea are reportedly favourites to land Bosnia international defender Sead Kolasinac, according to the reports from Daily Mirror.
The 23-year-old, who has 18 international caps for his country, has scored three goals and provided seven assists in 30 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit so far this season.
The Bosnian’s current contract expires at the end of the current 2016-17 campaign.
Mirror claims that Chelsea have beaten both Liverpool and Manchester City for Kolasinac and are set to offer the 23-year-old wages of over £100,000-a-week.
Juventus, AC Milan and Roma are all interested but the player favours a move to the Premier League.
According to reports, Chelsea tried to sign him during the final week of the January transfer window but Schalke blocked the move as they were unable to find a replacement in time.
But Antonio Conte remains keen to sign him and the Blues believe the player will choose a move to Stamford Bridge when he makes his decision before the end of the season.
