After the calamitous reign under Jose Mourinho, Chelsea have managed to put an end to the disastrous slide to their season. With the 2-2 draw against Watford last night, they have now gone two games undefeated and had Oscar not missed his spot kick, they could have got all three points as well.

Having said that, all is still not well at Chelsea as players like Cesc Fabregas and Eden Hazard are yet to play to their full potential. We take a closer look in to Chelsea’s 2-2 draw against Watford in our things learned and talking points section.

Diego Costa is back, well almost

The most rational fans would tell you that do not judge a player’s form on the basis of one game, be it good or bad. Diego Costa was exceptional last night as he took his chance and scored beautiful goals.

His goals could propel Guss Hiddink’s time at Stamford Bridge to greater heights. For now, we would reserve our comments if Costa is back to his best or not, but what we saw of him vs Watford, Chelsea fans would hope for the same week-in-week-out until the end of this season.

Cesc Fabregas looks doomed at the moment

Jose Mourinho did nit fancy Fabregas in his last few games in charge of Chelsea and it has continued with Guus Hiddink as well. For some odd reason, the Spaniard has failed to dictate the play from midfield and it was only fair to the team and the player to be substituted in second half.

Watford deserve to be 7th in the League Table

Despite coming back to the Premier League this season itself, The Hornets have showed implacable resolute to fight off every team they have faced so far this season. Watford’s defense is an example for every one to follow and up front, Odion Ighalo has been scoring for fun. League table does not lie and certainly Watford being 7th in the table is a testimony to their efforts.

Eden Hazard’s injury could get serious

According to reports from Sky Sports, Eden Hazard left Stamford Bridge limping and is a major doubt for the game against Manchester United. The Belgian will not be the only absentee for that game as Diego Costa has ruled himself out of the game after picking his 5th yellow card of the season.
