Champions League 2015/16 knock out rounds are here and the very first match sees a treat from Paris as Chelsea travel to Parc de Princes to take on PSG in a mouth-watering tie.

Both the squads have some of Europe’s finest players in them, so we decided to take a look at the best PSG vs Chelsea combined XI ahead of tonight’s clash based on fitness and form.

PSG vs Chelsea combined XI

Defense: Thibaut Courtois will walk in to any combined XI at present, unless Chelsea are up against Bayern Munich or Manchester United. Belgian stopper has returned to his best form, and is guiding Chelsea to a stellar season since his return.

PSG vs Chelsea combined XI will see Thiago Silva and Gary Cahill lead the central defense duties with Cesar Azpilicueta from the left-back and the ever so versatile Gregory Van Der Wiel operate from the right back slot.

Midfield: Marco Verratti is big miss in our PSG vs Chelsea combined XI as he is out injured. However, his fellow PSG teammate Blaise Matuidi is quite a handful running from one box to the other in quick time.

Partnering Matuidi in midfield is Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas, who has gone on a small blip in recent weeks. Fabregas will be expected to have a say in tonight’s match, if Chelsea want to have a positive result.

Attack: Angel Di Maria is a new player since moving to Paris, and with 11 assists this season, he leads our PSG vs Chelsea combined XI. Along with Di Maria, Chelsea’s best player this season Willian gets a position from right wing.

Up front, the two not-so-friendly but mightily effective duo of Ibrahimovic and Cavani lead the attack for our PSG vs Chelsea combined XI. They might not be best of friends off the pitch, but their link up play and finishing is of the highest order.
