Celtic have been quite idle this summer transfer window, however, they could be on the verge of recruiting another man to their squad.

The Bhoys have only successfully signed Odsonne Edouard this summer, but it is thought Brendan Rodgers would like to still acquire a couple of players to ensure his squad remains capable of retaining their Scottish Premiership title.

And, according to reports in the Daily Record, they could be close to sealing a new deal, with Daniel Arzani arriving in the United Kingdom.

The Australia international is expected to transfer to Manchester City from sister club Melbourne City and immediately be shipped off on a season-long loan to Celtic.

The 19-year-old is thought to be one of the brightest talents to come out of the country in recent times and became their youngest ever player to play at the World Cup this summer.

Arzani could become a major coup for Celtic this summer as he would be able to help build their attack to become a threat to oppositions going forward.

The teenager is a versatile attacker as he can be used either behind the forward or as a winger and would help to bolster their options.

With Tom Rogic and Leo Mazis already in the team, Celtic will be hoping his impact at Parkhead will be immediate.
