Reports regarding Celtic interest in Hibs Star John McGinn are beginning to get intense – with the club ready to throw Scott Allan into the deal to get it done.
It has been observed for some time now that Brendan Rodgers is interested in the midfielder. However, when asked about a possible deal last year, the Celtic manager had to hone his skills more at Hibs.
John can now boast of a top-flight season in his career, helping Neil Lennon’s side to a fourth-place finish after earning their promotion the previous season.
Neil Lennon has spoken about some crazy numbers with regards to his star player, quoting as much as £5 million – if Hibs stick to their guns then there might be little negotiations to make.
Celtic will be hoping that Scott Allan will be going the other way as part of any deal will make Hibs go soft on Celtic, maybe they could reduce the fee to £3 million.
