Calvin Miller is out on his way to a season-long loan spell with Dundee.
The defender penned a new two-year Celtic deal earlier this week and will go straight into Neil McCann’s first team.
Emilio Izaguirre’s return on a one year contract has allowed Brendan Rodgers to release Miller giving him a shot at first-team football this season.
Last season Scott Allan joined Dundee on loan at the start of the season with Dundee, Celtic and Hibs involved in a three-way swap in January that saw Scott Bain relocating to Celtic Park. In January, Jack Hendry joined the Bhoys from the dark blues for £1.2m.
Miller featured as a striker of left winger until Brendan Rodgers became the head coach at Celtic and was converted into a left-back that loves to race up the pitch at every opportunity.
On Monday the 20-year-old put up an exemplary display as Celtic defeated Dundee 3-0 in the SPFL Reserve League with his new contract signed soon afterwards.
