The transfer window cannot end with Arsenal not getting involve in buying and selling of players, and we have seen them done that so many times in the previous transfer windows
Now a report from BCC news has confirmed that Arsenal striker Chris Willock has completed a move to join Benfica on a long term deal.
The 19-year-old ace dazzling footwork made manager Arsene Wenger describes him as a “very gifted player”. Back then sir Wenger said that will have joined a regular f first-team football in his setup.
But unfortunately he had a change of mind, and then he allowed him complete a move away from the Emirates. Wenger said s quoted by report:
“Chris is a very gifted player with natural strength and natural talent
“He has what you do not find very easily.
“He can have a go at people; can get past people in one on ones.
“We forget sometimes that the basis of team sport is to first be strong one against one and Chris has that quality.
“I believe that he has the needed character when he has his back to the wall to always respond in a very strong way. That’s a very important quality, to be able to play under pressure.
“Overall I would be very comfortable to play him now but of course there is a lot of competition for places because there are players like Walcott, Alexis and Welbeck in front of him at the moment.
“If I had to play him then I would have no fear in doing so. Next season I think he will be a player who will get to feature in the team.”
On the other hand, Arsenal are schedule to be playing Chelsea towards the ending of this month and the North London club might have to prepare hard ahead of the game to make mistake Chelsea’s mission of revenging for the FA Cup lost doesn’t get accomplished.
