Last week it an own goal, which denied Bastian Schweinsteiger his first Manchester United goal. But tonight there was no denying it as the German netted a powerful header to score an important goal for his new club. Schweinsteiger scored his firs United goal from a corner after Jamie Vardy had put the home side ahead with a record breaking goal.
Vardy became the first ever player to score in 11 consecutive Premier League games breaking the 12 year Rudd van Nistelrooy’s record. United were trailing from Vardy’s goal until Schweinsteiger came up with the leveler right on the half-time stroke. The German converted Daley Blind’s ball in to the box with a precise header, take a look:
