As the season draws nearer, the future of Alexis Sanchez still hang in the balance as the Chilean wants to quit the Emirates. Arsenal have been trying to convince him to stay at the North London club and his agent also want him to stay. Fernando Felicevich who is the agent of the Chilean wants his client to see out the last year of his contract at the Emirates.
Sanchez aim of winning a major title is more important to him and he sees Arsenal not being able to guarantee that. His agent argument is that if he sees out the last year of his contract, he will be on a bosman transfer next season which will be much more lucrative for him.
Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are desperate to sign Sanchez with City coach Pep Guardiola willing to make him the highest paid player at City.
Felicevich believes that no matter what City or PSG is willing to pay this summer, Sanchez will make more of that if he can wait a season more. Despite Sanchez seeing Felicevich as a father figure and is close to him, he still fancy a move out of the Emirates before the end of the transfer window.
Sanchez is wary of the fact that age might not be on his side when next season when he will be over 29 years and he just had a league title which he won at Barcelona and will be keen on adding a Champions league medal to his cabinets of medals.
He will not have the opportunity of playing in the Champions league next season if he stays at Arsenal as the club will only be partaking in the Europa league.
Arsenal and Wenger are adamant Sanchez will not leave and have urged him to accept their £275,000-a-week contract offer to become their highest-paid player. Sanchez is due to return to training with Arsenal on Sunday but he has claim on social media that he is sick. The coming days will determine where Sanchez plays next season.
