The appointment of Antonio Conte to Stamford Bridge last summer, was to restore Chelsea back to its former glory but his reign may come to an end soon according to reports.
Earlier this summer, rumors regarding the Italian coach future at London was raised but the Blues Manager agreed to put to paper on a contract that will see him at the London club till 2019, and that subdue the rumors surrounding his future.
Now According to reports from Yahoo Sports, The 48-year-old came close to leaving the club after his first season as manager at the Stamford Bridge as he led the team to Premier League glory in his first season there.
A source says at a certain point it was definite that the coach will leave Chelsea and they were not expecting Conte to commit his future to Stamford.
“This is the kind of situation Antonio cannot cope with,” a source told Yahoo Sport. “When he starts losing matches that is when he gets really crazy. It’s impossible to assess what it will take to calm him down.
“When Antonio is in such a state of mind he makes himself hard to cope with everyone, and everything.
“He starts getting angry at staff, players, and others.”
Conte has brought four new players to Stamford Bridge since signing new contract with the West London Club and has allegedly been frustrated with Chelsea Board members.
The transfer window is only two weeks away and if Conte and the Board members relationship worsen new players won’t be signed to the Premier League defenders.
