The wait is over, Basel midfield star Mohamed Elneny has officially signed for Arsenal, making him the first outfield addition for the club this season.
This transfer has been an ongoing saga for weeks now with the player not being able to get his work permit, however, with all sorted, he has now joined Arsenal in a reported £7.4million transfer.
Arsenal’s officially twitter account announced the deal on twitter moments earlier with Elnney confirming the move as well, take a look:

Elneny’s signing will be a welcomed edition for Arsene Wenger, who has struggled to get hold of the injury to his central midfielder. With Cazorla and Coquelin ruled out for several weeks, Elneny will be the enforcer Gunners have dearly missed in recent times.
